Club Makumba is a free, spontaneous, experimental and tribalist exercise.
The band gathers Tó Trips (guitars),
João Doce (drums), Gonçalo Prazeres (saxs) and Gonçalo Leonardo (bass and double bass), who together build a journey of free, spontaneous and tribalist sounds, traveling between Mediterranean sounds and an imagined Africa, without any bias or borders. Dancing as an act of resistance!

é muito difícil escolher apenas uma música. se "Entre cá e lá" me faz pensar que bonito seria um album inteiro em duo com o Rui e a Cláudia, "Sonho" e "Supernova" demonstram que o Filho da Mãe nunca poderá parar de tocar a solo. que bonita homenagem ouvimos em "Zeca Elétrico", que mundo por descobrir nos pedais de "Noise", e que belíssimas melodias por cima de sólidas e sentidas harmonias, nessa muito portuguesa "Corrente". obrigado pela música! não deixes os dedos fugirem da guitarra. abraço.

The singing is sublime, the songs most original, great sense of building melodies, hooks over hooks to love, and all of that is embedded in electro sounds of high calibre. The cherry on the icing is the language. We should definitely listen to more Portuguese in music. This will get numerous runs.
