Club Makumba is a free, spontaneous, experimental and tribalist exercise.
The band gathers Tó Trips (guitars), João Doce (drums), Gonçalo Prazeres (saxs) and Gonçalo Leonardo (bass and double bass), who together build a journey of free, spontaneous and tribalist sounds, traveling between Mediterranean sounds and an imagined Africa, without any bias or borders. Dancing as an act of resistance!
